You can't play basketball forever. Just ask Michael Jordan. But could LeBron James really be considering a switch to football, much like Jordan gave baseball a shot mid-career?

That's what the Cleveland Cavaliers' 6'8" power forward told in an exclusive interview Tuesday night at the Interscope Records party for the soundtrack to his new documentary "More Than a Game."

“I’ve been thinking about transferring to the NFL. I played a lot of football in my school days," he laughed. "I may make it happen one day – you never know!”


Is he kidding, like he was in his famous State Farm commercial last year, where he joined the Cleveland Browns, or is there a glimmer of seriousness to his talk? Hard to tell, as right now James is focusing on his interrelated "More Than a Game" book, documentary and soundtrack.

Filmed seven years ago, "More Than a Game" follows his high school basketball career and the lives of his coach and best friends. The accompanying book is already on shelves. The movie hits theaters October 2nd. LeBron jumped onboard in 2008 to create the soundtrack, with a little help from mentor, Jay-Z.

“I met Jay-Z through a mutual friend and he is my big brother and role model," James told FOX411. "He inspires me to do different projects. Jay makes himself available to me on a day-to-day basis so I can call him any time I need to. When I called him about the movie and the soundtrack he immediately agreed to put a track down and he gave me the song, 'History'.”

After his "More Than a Game" trifecta comes his first major role in a comedy. “I’m doing a movie next summer called 'Fantasy Basketball Camp,' so I have to actually act in that one!" James said. "It is going to be produced by the great Brian Grazer in L.A. and Las Vegas, and we are going to have a little fun.”

But don't worry Cavs' fans, King James still has basketball on the brain. When asked who his toughest opponent is, James said “I might be the toughest man to guard in the NBA, but other than me, Kobe Bryant. He’s fast and his competitive nature is unbelievable. He is truly talented.”

Finally, Cleveland Cavaliers star LeBron James speaks up about he's got dunked on by Xavier's Jordan Crawford at his Nike skills camp last summer. In an exclusive interview, Lebron James also speaks about the reason why he silently left the arena after losing from Orlando Magic in the Eastern Conference finals.

King James speaks about getting dunked on:

"I never told anyone to confiscate any tapes. Nike has a no videotape policy at pick-up games. They've always done that. Now that LeBron is involved, it's blown up. It's a play that happens in basketball all the time. You can go on YouTube and see me being dunked on by a lot of guys. I like to call myself a shot blocker and [getting dunked on] tends to happen. Jordan Crawford is going to be a good basketball player ..."

King James speaks about the reason why he left silently after losing from Magic:

"I wouldn't have done it the same. I would have done the media. Looking back on it, without you guys, there's no LeBron James, D-Wade, Tiger Woods or no Peyton Manning. If I could have started over again, I would have done the media. As I thought about it I could see why people were talking about because your job starts when mine ends.

"But as far as the dunk or whatever car I'm driving, some things you shouldn't comment and some things you should. I look at the no handshake like this — during the regular season, no one ever shakes hands. You move on to the next game. I congratulated Dwight Howard(notes) through email and told him good luck in the Finals. Shaking hands is not a big deal to me. It's not being a sore loser, it’s moving on. Sometimes people want you to accept losing and I'll never accept losing."

Finally... the LeBron James gets dunked on video can be witnessed after the tape has been confiscated by a Nike Basketball Senior director. It is Jordan Crawford, a Xavier college boy who has dunked on LeBron James during a pick-up game at the LeBron James Skills Academy at the University of Akron a couple of weeks ago. The LeBron James gets dunked on tape on TMZ is disappointing though because it's blurry and undefined. But thanks to the crew at eBaum Nation who came through in the clutch with a higher quality version of the slam dunk. It's a reverse angle from the TMZ video and while it's also not perfectly framed, you can clearly see LeBron James gets dunked on by Jordan Crawford.

It looks like Shaquille O'Neal is going to wear Cleveland Cavaliers jersey. According to some reports, Cavaliers have agreed in principle to send Ben Wallace and Sasha Pavlovic to Phoenix Suns for bringing in Shaquille O'Neal to Cleveland. The Cavs hopes the four-time NBA champion can support LeBron James in their search for the first NBA Championship.

Having recovered from surgery to have a benign growth on his jaw removed, the NBA’s MVP LeBron James is keeping a tight schedule. On Monday, Cleveland Cavaliers’s All-Star forward and his friends visited President Barack Obama and were given a tour of the West Wing before attending "More Than A Game" premiere, a documentary about the basketball star and his friends’ rise to national champions while playing at St. Vincent-St. Mary High School in Akron, Ohio.

LeBron James contributed to Obama’s campaign and first met the nation’s No. 1 hoops fan at a talk show taping last year. On Tuesday, James and pop music star Rihanna celebrated the opening of the Carol’s Daughter Hand & Foot Spa in New York. These were James’ first public appearances since his five-hour operation at the Cleveland Clinic on June 1.

LeBron James has caused a minor controversy after Game 6 in the Eastern Conference finals for not shaking hands with Orlando Magic's players and skipping the postgame news conference. Yesterday LeBron finally talked about not making the NBA Finals. He said on Sunday that he's happy in Cleveland and feels Cavaliers made major progress this season. Lebron insisted Cleveland's loss to Orlando will not impact his future with Cavaliers.



Meanwhile LeBron James underwent successful surgery today at Cleveland Clinic. He had a right benign parotid growth (near the right jaw) removed in a five-hour procedure. LeBron and his family have been aware of this medical issue for several months but decided to wait until the conclusion of Cavaliers season to undergo the removal procedure. LeBron is recovering comfortably and will soon be returning home to his family.

The doctors are pleased with the outcome of the procedure, and at this time, are confident that no further treatment will be needed as LeBron is expected to make a full and complete recovery.

Give the ball to LeBron! That was the order Mike Brown, NBA’s Coach of the Year, told his boys. And that was exactly what Cleveland Cavaliers did. They just gave LeBron James the ball on Game 5 in the Eastern Conference finals. The result? Cavaliers won 112-102 over Orlando Magic to keep the season alive. LeBron James, as always, figured out what to do with the ball. He either scored or assisted on every Cavalier point.

Cleveland Cavaliers beat Orlando Magic, 96-95, on LeBron James’ stunning 3-pointer at the buzzer in Game 2 in the Eastern Conference finals, and salvaged Cavaliers a 1-1 series tie. LeBron’ last shot saved the Cavaliers from a 0-2 loss against Magic. "Thank you to the basketball gods," said LeBron after the game. The basketball god, LeBron James means.

Cleveland Cavaliers fans once questioned LeBron James’s loyalty to his hometown for attending Cleveland Indians games against New York Yankees wearing a Yankees cap. "As individuals I want every Indian to succeed. I love all these fans for coming out and supporting us. But team-wise I want the Yankees to win," replied James. Despite living in Ohio in his childhood, LeBron James grew up as a NY Yankees and Dallas Cowboys fan for the NFL and a Chicago Bulls fan for the NBA.

LeBron James was the first tenth grader in St. Vincent–St. Mary High School to be called "Mr. Basketball" of Ohio and became the first tenth grader ever selected to the USA Today All-USA First Team as well. LeBron James has set many youngest player records since joining the NBA league. LeBron was awarded the 2003–2004 NBA Rookie of the Year, 2008–2009 NBA MVP (Most Valuable Player), and has been both All-NBA and an All-Star every season since 2005.

There is no way to measure the bond LeBron James has with the Cleveland fans who enjoy LeBron's every move. James can feel the bond between himself and the fans. They have watched LeBron James grow from an 18-year-old kid to a 24-year-old man. They relate to each other.
